Slow-cooked Beef Poutine Red Rose Taverne
Blood-red Rose Taverne is the Dazzler and the Animal overlay of Village Haus that, apparently, became a permanent prisoner of Disneyland Park considering it shows no signs of being released. The overlay began in 2017 as a promo for the alive-activity Beauty and the Fauna film released that year, and the French- and movie-inspired dishes gained popularity right away. And now nosotros're back to enjoy items from the Taverne's lunch and dinner menu. So put the lid back over your enchanted rose, and prepare to belt out some tunes: it'due south time to eat.
Red Rose Taverne Overlay
The lunch and dinner menu at Cherry Rose Taverne has seen a few changes since our showtime visit over two years ago. The Forbidden Beast'south Burger was added when the Beast's Burger (apparently not forbidden) was removed. And while the Slow-Cooked Beef Poutine has remained on the card throughout, the flatbread version of this poutine was removed.

We tried two of the original menu items and Animate being's Forbidden Burger (because we like to live life on the edge!). And we had some Greyness Stuff Gateau considering it'due south the law. 
Entrees (and dessert) at Red Rose Taverne
The Garden Mozzarella Flatbread is a long-fourth dimension resident of the Taverne's bill of fare, and we weren't wowed past it when we tried it the first time. It came out cold back when the restaurant commencement opened, and that was off-putting. This time it was still warm, and the freshness came through.

Essentially this is caprese salad on a flatbread, so if you like that and want something that feels fairly calorie-free (cheese not withstanding) for an entree, this might piece of work for you!

Beast's Forbidden Burger had a lot more than season than the flatbread, and we really enjoyed it! First, allow's but take a moment for those Pommes Frites. They're topped with a piddling garlic and parsley, and they were a great addition to the dish!

The burger itself is protein-heavy, with wagyu (!!!) beef steak on top of an Angus Beefiness patty!Béarnaise Aïoli, Roasted Onions, and Pickled Peppers end out the toppings. It's all served on a sturdy toasted bun that manages to wrangle the components.

Overall, we liked this! The steak was unfortunately a bit tough, but the flavors carried through, and we enjoyed those. It's a good quick service burger. Merely we are very sad to see wagyu beef that isn't the star of the bear witness.

The Tiresome-Cooked Beefiness Poutine was the biggest hit of the three, with thick-cut waffle fries loaded with beef, gravy, herbacious cheese curds, and pickled onions.
Slow Cooked Beefiness Poutine
The toppings are the real stars here. Traditionally dark-brown gravy and cheese curds are included in poutine, then nosotros're happy that the tradition stands in that respect. The herb-dressed cheese curds are a keen interpretation, and the beefiness and gravy were savory and filling. Those pickled onions, though! What a refreshing contrast to the heavier components!

Beneath the toppings, the waffle chips were potent enough to handle the toppings, and it ate well equally a upshot. Very satisfying dish.
Ho-hum Cooked Beefiness Poutine
Whether you enjoy a meal at Cherry-red Rose Taverne or not, stopping in for the Gray Stuff Gateau is a must. This is a shortbread circular topped with a flake of ruby-red velvet block that's encased in swirls of cookies-and-foam mousse. Information technology'south not expressly identical to Magic Kingdom's Gray Stuff, only it'due south succulent. (No, that reference is not played out.)

This is a fun treat that brings a grinning simply for its beloved celebration in the movie, and thankfully, it's also yummy!

Red Rose Taverne is the fun little overlay that could, and we're glad the limited menu still features a skilful variety of dishes, including the vegan-friendly Enchanted Cauli-Flower Sandwich.
